Happened to visit your blog and learned you would like to publish a book. Half year to complete a book is quite amazing
I visit itpub often but not posting messages a lot. I find your posts more practical and would like to propose my suggestions to your incoming book, if you don't mind. Personally, I think if your book has a cookbook style. Your book will certainly stand out and be the first of its kind in China. Most Oracle books in China are either translations or traditional high level picture plus not-too-useful examples. Check the Amazon. Cookbook has high ratings. Nowadays, Oracle Student Guide and its own documentation have plenty of theories with associated backgrounds, if not overwhelming.
People who say Eygle's book is good because they have background of Oracle. On the contrary, those who say his book is hard to understand have little knowledge and concepts of Oracle. Thus, a wide range of target readers usually cannot make that book a hit. That's my view.

既然大家这么关心，我这里向大家给一个解释与承诺。
草稿其实已经写完了，但是修正工作一直没有继续下去，已经停了快一个月时间了吧，主要有如下原因：
1、工作上的事情，最近一段都比较忙，而且比较杂，现在必须以工作为重
2、主要原因，我需要静下来想一想，本书的目的，面向读者，难易程度等等
3、其它一些原因，如本书的重点，是全面为主还是重点突出为长？比如说，standby我可能很熟悉，但是stream虽然我也会，但是经验却不多。
不过可以肯定的是，本书希望以经验总结为重，而且，本书肯定是能出来的，如果出的晚一些，还可以把11g的一些东西补充进去，或许是不是会更好。
希望大家更多的建议与意见
